Happy team is the key driving factor for performance
WHAT
​
The level of involvement of teammates is considered as a key point to reach performance. Happy teammates are more willing to involve in the project. Happy teammates will take initiative to think about and take action to fulfill customers needs.
Different teammates has different needs for happiness.
HOW
​
1. Understand the feedback of teammates happiness by satisfaction survey or other ways such as face to face communication, observation. The survey can be 1-2 times/year with full range of questions link to working environment, teamwork & interpersonal relationship, remuneration & incentive system, my responsibility, culture & management, self-growth & career development, etc. The survey can also be bi-monthly with questions in specific domain.
2. Analyze the reason for human turnover and absenteeism.
3. Analyze Maslow's hierarchy of needs for different teammates.
4. Take concrete action to increase teammates happiness. The actions can be varied according to feedback of teammates, reason for human turnover& absenteeism, Maslow's needs, the status and strategy of factory, such as collective team project, IDM, team meeting, golden idea system, wish board, canteen and dormitory optimization, etc.
5. Continuous improvement for team happiness and involvement daily.
