WHY

Healthy communication is essential within work teams, since it enables individuals to manage information in a transparent way.

WHAT

Objective is to make sure information display is optimized and managed in order to be an effective communication tool. The display of information never replaces the need for face to face communication. It is a support to verbal communication. Display of information is part of a global communication plan that organizes management of communication and reduces information display to the very minimum needed.

BENEFITS

  • Good relationships

  • Clarity & transparency of information

  • Help to support team activities

HOW

Standardized display will help the coherence of the communication. But to adhere to visual communication, staff should appropriate the space surrounding it. Appropriation is only possible if staff are consulted on all decisions concerning the development of the workplace. A display will be more easily accepted if known, commented and agreed.
