To avoid leakages of Energy (Steam - Air)

DMW CARD

1. LEARN BY YOURSELF & CHALLENGE YOUR WAY OF DOING

WHY

Due to the high intensive use of energetic system, it happens that the pipes are broken. This is link to important leakages that is energy and CO2 Emissions.

HOW

  1. Detect Leakage : During Gemba Walk everyday or when machines are stopped. You can hear the leakages

  2. Show it and contact the maintenance team to repare / fix it

  3. Install a regular leak detection in the factory will support a lot to reduce your impact

For Air, if not fixed the Leak rate can be 20% of total compressed air production capacity
